Our last discussion of A Wrinkle in Time was focused somewhat on the recent film. We talked about the changes from the book. One big hit from the movie with everyone was Mrs. Whatsit turning into the lettuce monster with an artichoke head. Not exactly what we expected from the book, but the animation and overall the visual presentation of the film was generally acclaimed, along with the portrayals of the three good witches/angels/extraterrestrial beings. We had a good turnout of discussants, too.
